STUDIO DANCE ARTS : LEADING THE WAY IN DANCE EDUCATION
Newsletter. Dec.2011
Did you know that SDA was the first studio crowned National Champions within the last 5 years?

'Tis the Season
All of the staff at SDA are blessed with the opportunity to dance with you, learn with you and share with you. We want to extend our warmest wishes to all of our SDA dance families to have the happiest of holidays and many blessings in the New Year! We look forward to an exciting 2012!
The King and I
This December we had an incredible opportunity to share the stage in one of the "best musicals ever staged in the Sault". The Sault Symphony Orchestra's production received standing ovations by more than 4,000 people over its five night run. We hope some of our SDA families on the North Shore were able to visit and take this show in. It took more than 200 talented people to put this masterpiece together and we thank the Symphony, Timothy Murphy, and the entire cast and crew for having SDA be a part of this spectacular event! Photo albums are available with 63 high resolution images of the entire production. To relive the moments and to see the images included in the album, click here.

Guest Faculty at SDA
We want to thank Shanna Cipressi for joining SDA and setting choreogrpahy on our Elliot Lake and Sault dancers and also Melissa Ridgeway, Jason Luks and Liz Imperio for making their way to the Canadian North as our guests. We have some amazing pieces that we are all looking forward to showcasing during the 2012 competition season!
Blind River
We are having a great time with our dancers and dance families who are part of our newest program in Blind River. The program is led by Pam Robins and instructs children as young as two, many of which are taking their first ever dance class. Miss Pam visits the area once every week and shares in learning new movements for these young dancers. Thank for welcoming us into your community!
SDA HOLIDAY HOURS
Pleast note that the studio will be closed from December 23 through January 8. We hope all that you all have a safe and happy holiday!
