Competitive programs

Studio Dance Arts offers a nationally award winning competitive dance program for boys and girls starting at the age of 6yrs. This program is geared towards the student wanting a more serious approach to dance education. Mandatory technique and choreography classes are involved, as well as traveling to different cities to compete at the regional and national levels. Teamwork and camaraderie are learned, while the SDA Company travels throughout North America impressing judges and audiences alike and proudly putting northern Ontario on the map at major dance events. Our competitive program has received countless titles, choreography, entertainment and overall high score awards, as well as having produced students who have been accepted into such prestigious institutions as The National Ballet Of Canada, The Royal Winnipeg Ballet, The Quinte Ballet, Interlochen Arts Academy, Blue Lake Academy and the San Fransisco Conservatory of the Arts, to name a few.
