MEET OUR SUMMER FACULTY

We are super excited to host the following workshop teachers:

ROB JENSEN

Mr. Jensen has over 25 years of experience dancing, teaching, choreographing and adjudicating. A full member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA) and former director on the Ontario Branch of CDTA, Mr. Jensen has also attained his Advanced 1 Checchetti through examination by the National Ballet of Canada, and a post graduate and scholarship recipient of the Dance Master's of America Teacher's Training School.

He is also co-founder and director of the Professional Adjudicator's Alliance. Mr. Jensen and his business partner Scott Kufske's goal is to unite and educate adjudicators across North America, as well as helping young and aspiring new adjudicators get a good start in the world of judging.

Mr. Jensen has been a free-lance teacher in south western Ontario for many years, training and developing his talaents as an inspiring choreographer and instructor. Some of his students have gone on to the National Ballet School, Boston Ballet School, NYC Rockettes, to name a few.

His professional credits include; Patti Labelle, Rita McNeil, Bare Naked Ladies and Will Ferrell. He has also appeared in several movies, commercials and TV specials. As a choreographer, Mr. Jensen has worked for Genentech/Roche Pharmaceuticals in their opening awards ceremonies in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. Jensen is currently the head of the Jazz & Tap Department at the Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance in Etobicoke, Ontario.

MATTHEW CARUSO

Matthew is a member of the British Association of Teachers of Dance (BATD), having received his diplomas in jazz, tap and ballet. In Toronto, he worked on various live stage shows, video and film projects including Mastercard, Bell Mobility, Hillary Duff and the film “Hairspray”. Having worked with several studios in Ontario, Matthew is a respected teacher and is often recognized for his innovative choreography. His students have received many awards from the most respected dance organizations across North America and have been National Champions. Matthew strives to inspire young dancers with his enthusiasm and passion for dance.
